Autumn veggies

After you have cleared out old debris from the past seasons, you may be wondering what vegetables you can add to your veggie patch at this time of year.

It’s time to get planting for for a thriving round of Winter veggies.

Consider your leafy greens: Lettuce, rocket, spinach and Asian greens such as pak choi or tatsoi.

If you’re looking for something a little bigger, now is a good time to plant broad beans, cabbage, cauliflower, celery, leek, onions, garlic and spring onions.

Herbs? Parsley is a hardy herb and now is the time to plant. You could also try rosemary, thyme and if you have the space, mint.
